Fleecewood carded sliver equates to roving in the US. Some customers have said the English Leicester rovings are more like top, though they have not been combed or gilled. Fleecewood sliver/roving is processed from scoured fleece by Tai Tapu Woolcarders, Christchurch. Fleecewood Leicester and English Leicester sliver/roving comes in a range of natural colours: Light Grey, Medium Grey, Dark Grey and Black.
